Another database may be interested
Here's another database I've done in the past that you might be interested in. College enrollment numbers from fall semesters 1999-2009 for area schools -- LSUS, SUSLA, and BPCC.
ACT Database
Here is the ACT Database I've been working on. Feel free to play.
The database contains information from 2007-2009 for Bossier and Caddo school districts. It also contains composite scores for each high school and scores for each subject.
Those schools with low number of test takers did have scores reported for them.

What I'm checking out today
Since the last post on this blog in March, I've become quite savvy about databases. Love them. Love gathering information and making a database out of them.
My latest project will be looking at ACT scores in Caddo and Bossier for the past three years. I've nearly completed it and will share the database and story once I've finished.
Look for more databases on the blog. And let us know what kind of database you'd like to see.

Making another go!
Hello all!
It's been a long time since I've posted on the blog. The experiment was a success but we continue to experiment.
We have hired a new K-12 reporter, Nicole Blake Johnson, who will be joining us in the blogosphere. We'll be working out some bugs and we set her up with the blog.
I will continue to blog and with start up the twitter account again. But all in due time, folks.
Get ready for more NWLA education news. Oh and by the way...it's good to be back.
